Journal Lists

On this page you can view the EMBASE journal lists. There are three separate lists - one for active journals*, one for inactive journals**, and one for titles under review*** . Each list includes the journal title, ISSN and where applicable, eISSN. These lists will be updated and made available on a quarterly basis.

EMBASE contains around 1,800 priority journals. These are journals which have been assigned priority status by our editorial board. The status is based on a number of criteria such as whether it is peer reviewed, whether it is in the English language and whether the journal has an editorial board. You can limit your search to only include journals that have been awarded priority status by selecting the limit 'priority journals only' in EMBASE.com.

*Active titles: All titles currently active in the database
** Inactive titles: Discontinued or changed titles
*** Titles under review: New titles to be added to the collection/titles undergoing a title change
